A little bit of day three!

Clocked stockings!
Levi is a cutie. :D

Day two fun. :D

These girls were so cute. They made their dresses, and four others each, themselves! They're very into the history and we had an in-depth discussion about stays.
My chemise gown.

More home schoolers we met.

Too adorable!

Two girls from our homeschool group wearing my old dresses. :D

With my awesome manfriend who thinks I'm crazy!

Outside the public hospital in my afternoon outfit.

Day 1, Part 3

I love the changeable silk on this dress! I wish you could see her shoes. They were great!

I think this girl's name is Lucy? She's a home schooler from Georgia! She's also awesome because she's learning how to sew and she made her dress. :D

These girls were from Florida!

Levi!

Whitework on Lady Dunmore's dressing table.

Wow. Serious dress lust going on right now.

A doll in the governor's palace.

Dad making a plan with the map. I think he was more excited than he wanted to admit.

Day 1, part 2

A close-up of deathhead buttons on
a pair of boy's breeches.

A girl's dress, and a few reproductions of children's stays.

A few of the other home schoolers. I wish I'd gotten names!

Home School Week at Williamsburg! Day 1

This is the first day of homeschool week we've attended!

Aren't they adorable? This is how it all starts, folks. Visit their mum's blog for a dose of pure home school awesomeness.
pretty polonaise!

My little brother levi in the outfit I made for him. Isn't he cute?!

This is my other brother, Josh, decked out in 18th c finery. He won't admit it, but he wants to see how many of yall will mention his "mustache" in the comments below.

Family pic!

I've got lots of pictures of adorable home school kids all dressed up, which will be in the next post. I did check with the mums and dads before getting snapshots, but if any of you stumble across them and want me to remove them, I most certainly will. On the other hand, if you're like some people I've met and want me to put links to your websites next to your kids' pictures, I'd be more than happy to!
Also, check back all week becasue I'll be posting what I've been wearing/awesome stuff I've seen for each day. Comment below!

Guess Where I Am?

What's this? A suitcase, some 18th c. hats, and a fearsome owl? I must be going somewhere. Guess!
